Wonderful I was 69 years old a few days ago. In 1977 I was at the Roxy in London with Penetration on the afternoon Billy Idol came up to me and said I have just joined Generation X I have just left Chelsea (the band) and I have brought some songs with me do you want hear one, I thought he must have had a small cassette player, but no he got an acoustic guitar pulled up a chair and sang all of Ready Steady Go! to me, I thought this guy is going to be a pop star.
